Sorbonne University is a prestigious public research university in the heart of Paris, carrying forward the historic legacy of the College of Sorbonne founded in 1257. Admission is based entirely on the French Baccalauréat (with high grades in scientific or literary specialties), IB Diploma (34+ points), or equivalent international secondary school credentials.
Admission via Parcoursup for students with French/EU qualifications, or Études en France (DAP) for international students. Science and mathematics double degrees ("cursus bi-disciplinaires") are highly selective.
French proficiency at minimum level B2 (or C1 for literary and human sciences) is mandatory for undergraduate study as instruction is in French.
